Position Description

Job Title: Contract School Nurse (RN)

Qualifications

  • Required:ValidRN license in the state of CO.
  • MUST have school-based experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.

Location:Aurora, CO

Full-time: 37.5 hours/week

Start: ASAP - 5/21/2026

Caseload

Pay:hourly, dependent on experience

Job Description

  • Caseload is working 1:1 with a severe case, medically fragile student
  • Care includes O2 Ostomy and G-tube with suction, using a hoyer as well
  • Bus riding to and from the school each day is required
  • Shift will be from 7:30a-3:45p each day

Contract Details

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
  • Contract duration: Full academic year with potential for renewal.
  • Benefits available, including health insurance options and 401(k) plan.
